Dr Pepper

Poppy and mom are teaching me right!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Birthday Mom!

We celebrated mom's birthday on Thanksgiving with Grandma, Poppy, Aunt Mary, and Grandma Wright.
Poppy sat me on the counter so I could see what was going on. I found this cool bottle. Mom says it contains the best thing money can buy! You will have to see another post for the video of me playing with this.

Wii Bowling

We taught Grandma Wright had to bowl and play tennis on Mom's Wii!

Hangin' Out

This last week mom and I went to Great-Grandma Wright's house in Ramona, OK. We had lots of fun with Great-Grandma Wright, Grandma, Poppy, Aunt Mary, Uncle JP, and lots of mom's cousins, aunts, and uncles!

I am sad because Grandma and Poppy were going back home
Check out the white streaks on Uncle JP's arm and the crotch of his pants!!! I have very good aim when it comes to spitting up!
Uncle JP was teaching me how to fix computers
I watched very closely
Great-grandma and Aunt Mary
Playing in the floor with JP
I love reading books!!

Here is how you drink a bottle of water, Poppy. For never having had any, I figured out pretty quickly what you are supposed to do with these things!

Fire

On Thanksgiving afternoon there was a big fire at Great-Grandma's house. The people that live on the next hill over accidentally started it and it spread fast. It took three brush rigs and a tanker to refill the trucks. We were wetting down the grass with hoses to help it stay away from the houses. The fire did get pretty close to Great Uncle Scott's house. Here are some pics that mom took.
The fire started somewhere around the red barn

Oh, I forgot. There were 4 trucks that came besides the tanker.

Unfortunately, this one wouldn't start up again after it died right in front of Uncle Scott's house!
Did I mention that the population of the town is like maybe 300??!!

Going to see Daddy

Mom and I went to see dad at deer camp before we left for Tulsa this past week (no computer = no new blogs...sorry). This is where daddy and Papaw and others stay for the week of rifle season. Yes, mom thinks they are crazy. This year they did have a little bit of electricity, not that they used it really, but no running water.

This is me in my camo coveralls and hat
Told you I take this toy everywhere!

This is deer camp....sleeping tent is on the left, cook tent on the right.
This was supposed to be where dad hunted, however, someone else decided to put in a gas line right in front of his stand!

This is the deer dad shot...his prize for sleeping in the cold I guess!
Dad was pretty proud of him...going to get him skull-mounted. Don't worry, mom said that thing will NOT go in her house! He had 24 score-able points!

Laughing and Playing

Today I started laughing at Kacy...a deep belly laugh that mom thought was hilarious! Grandma and Poppy heard it too!!! Here is a small taste of it. It's not long because, once again, I quit performing when the black flashy thing appears!

I am pretty good at sitting up now. I have to have something behind me still because some toys are just so exciting that I fling myself backwards! I am always trying to eat the bug off this mirror...one of these days I will get it done!

Frog legs anyone??

The start of the most important season of the year...

That's deer season for those of you who don't have your priorities straight (according to dad, definitely not mom!). So last night all the girls and I got together since the guys were at deer camp (have no fear, I will post more on that later!) and of course there are photos to prove it!

More Christmas

Yes, someday soon I will hate mom for all of this. For now, though, you better enjoy it while you can. I will say that she has to do all these cruel things to me when dad isn't home because he doesn't always approve...Go Dad!!! So for now...Merry Christmas in November!

See my snow man friend mom gave me...she tried to get me to smile at it but I preferred to just hold it.
