The Secret is...

wait until mom gets a migraine, cry for at least 1 1/2 hours in the middle of the night (at least this long), then when morning comes cry some more. Eat like you are a good boy at 7, but when she puts you back in your own bed to sleep for a few more hours, don't do it! Let mom get all the way back to her bed and almost asleep, then start crying, and I mean crying, none of that whining stuff. When she comes to check on you, continue crying until she gives up and picks you up. Then, snuggle down on her shoulder and be really sweet. Next, she will decide it's not worth it, remember her head is still hurting from the previous night's migraine, and she will put you in bed with her! It's awesome! Now, you can sleep that 2 hours that she wanted you to sleep in your own bed!!!

p.s. don't tell mom I figured this out or it won't ever work again!

Stats

I forgot to tell you. I am 16# 15 ozs, and 27" long at 5 1/2 months! That's what the nurse told me on Thursday and mom couldn't believe it! She knew I was getting heavy, but "Wow" she said!

Christmas Sweater!

Mom thought I looked like such a big boy in my Christmas sweater and khaki cords and my big size 3, yes 3, brown church shoes! She suckered dad into taking a picture with me!

Crazy Flower!

So I get really frustrated with this little flower on the exersaucer. I really like to chew on it but it won't come any closer to my mouth. I have to lean way over to get it to my mouth. It makes me so angry I could scream, or wait, so angry I DO scream!

Viruses

are mean, evil things, but for some reason I keep catching them. So, it has been a rough lasr few days and sleepless nights. Sorry mom :( Today I feel much better and even slept most of the night for mom and dad.

Baby's First Christmas Card

Today I got my first official "Baby's 1st" Christmas card in the mail. It was from Grandma and Poppy. I loved my card so much that I just wanted to eat it!

My new blanket

Today I got a new blanket in the mail. My nanny made it and sent it to me in the mail. It is so soft and even has my name on it! Mom said it is really pretty.

More friend time!

Today mom and I went to Elk City to see some friends. Well, I did anyway, mom was getting some work done. So I hung out with Kollin, who is 5 weeks older, Kamdyn and Kyla. We had a great time playing. I even let them hear my new whine that mom can't stand! Then we went and saw Chris and Dana. She is my gra-nt (grandma-aunt, mom said you just have to know Dana!) Better watch out Kade and Brayden! I got to play with all your toys today!

dad let Kacy out to take care of her business only to see a possum sitting at our back door. Well, the attack dog that she is took off after the intruder! Dad goes and gets a broom handle to defend himself and Kacy backs the intruder back into the corner. Sorry dad, Kacy is quicker than you (and tougher...she didn't need no broom handle!) Yes I know it's gross but I am a boy and boys are gross! Never fear though, my back yard will always be safe with Kacy around! (For those of you who haven't met Kacy, she is a mini Schnauzer and a tough, protective one at that!)

Mom tried to get me to eat cereal. I didn't like it at all!

New Stocking!

My stocking finally arrived in the mail!!! It is a lot bigger than mom thought it would be...works for me though...now she will have to put more toys in it, oh, I mean Santa will have to put more toys in it!!

Santa says "Ho, Ho, Ho!" I have the form down, just not the sounds!
