Another day...another bath
My 2nd wedding and only 3 1/2 weeks old!
Saturday, July 26 dad's cousin got married in Weatherford. My cousin Baleigh was the flower girl so we had to take some pictures of us together in our cute clothes! Mom said it was really hard to get a good picture of us both...so here are a few of her attempts! (Baleigh is almost 3...I've got a lot of growing to do!)

Three weeks old!
So apparently you have to be 3 weeks old before they bring out the toys...what a rough life. I must say that the toys with lights and sounds are the best...check out me and my new butterfly toy!

Kansas??
So still a little unsure as to why I would have this Kansas bib when I live in Oklahoma...mom says there is this old man, Poppy is what she called him, who likes to talk smack about his Jayhawks...I guess I should just go with it since he buys me lots of cool shoes...me...cheer for Kansas???
Ok, ok, so "Go Jayhawks!"

Hooded towels are the cutest!
Another bath...another photo opportunity! Still not really a fan of the bath but man, these hooded towels are soft (and warm, which is really the only part I care about but to appease mom I will say it's because they are soft). And yes, dad usually rolls his eyes and grins at mom when she pulls out the camera...I don't really get it though. Shouldn't every move I make be caught on camera??

The bouncy seat...
So, this morning I decided to get up really, really early. Mom said it wasn't time so she put me in this seat. Then she moved this little button and the seat started shaking...it's great. However, I didn't last very long, my eyes just wouldn't stay open. Thank you Kate (and Amy) for letting me borrow your bouncy seat. So far, it's been awesome!

Hangin' out
So last night, or I guess early this morning, after I ate I had apparently confused mom into thinking that I was asleep so she put me in my bed. So I decided to let her go as far as getting back in her bed and getting comfortable in her bed before I let her know that I was NOT asleep. I was ready to look around and talk (or as some say "coo"). So we did this for about an hour after I ate even though mom kept telling me that it was night time and not play time. So this morning we were hanging out again, but I was struggling some because I was so sleepy after our 3am play time. So mom lays me in the corner of the couch so she can butter her toast and this is how she found me...aren't I sweet???
The second bath....
The second bath was much, much worse than the first...mom had to call dad immediately after putting me in the water. Something about I lost control, was trying to flip out of the tub, and was so red from screaming. So dad held the pacifier (the good green one they give you in the hospital...I keep losing that one though) in my mouth and mom washed me off, all the while I am still screaming.
This is after the bath is finished, dad has calmed me down, and I have my clothes back on. All is okay, except for maybe this hat. I did go to sleep shortly after this and slept through one of my eating times. All that screaming really wore me out! Good news though. The third bath was much better than the first two. I didn't scream one time....maybe I can get used to this whole bath thing...

The night grandma left....
So my first night of no grandma taking care of me didn't go as planned...or so mom says. What can I say? I like to get up about every hour and a half and talk...don't really see the problem in that. However, the next morning is a little rough. So this is what I did for 4, yes 4 hours this morning, and then again this afternoon.

Just a few more photos...
Luke's 1st real bath at 10 days old!
Wasn't too sure what to think of the first bath that wasn't with just a rag...
Notice the hands and arms...they are constantly moving like this!
